HOW TO REACH YOUR GOALS IN THE NEW YEAR

As we start a new year, most of us will make resolutions and set some goals we would like to fulfill... and while many will put these ideas down and say it pointless because most people do not stick to their resolutions and goals, it is still an excellent way to start off your new year.

Remember to always have SMART goals because it will always allow you to see your progess and Identify the need for adjustments.

PLANNING IS GOOD

As we know that failing to plan is akin to planning to fail, then we must make plans for our future this year... here are 4 easy tips to help you get started and keep you on the right path.

1. You must get rid of everything that isn't important.
This is challenging, not only can it be difficult to delete things, tasks, and people from your life; it is equally difficult identifying what those things and who those people are. but it must be done. When you say "YES" to one thing you automatically say "NO" to another thing simply because you can't be in two places at once. Say "YES" to the thing that is most important, be single minded and stay focused on it no matter what else comes your way.

ASK THE QUESTIONS

2. Do I really need that or need to do that?
As you ask yourself this question with an honest answer you will find that most of the things you thought were needs are not needed at all.

3. Is this what God wants me to be doing at this time?
You must know what it is that you should be doing. But thats not enough; timing is everything! You have to find yourself in the right place, doing the right thing, at the right time or you will miss the opportunity to accomplish what you are trying to do.

4. Does what I am currently doing help to advance the pursuit of my present goals?
This is how you know what you should be dong. This is your road map and your compass. It will show you where to go and show you when you are going off course.

I wish you much success in the new year... Remember: You must never ever quit!

To Gain Control Of Your Life: Get Control Of Yourself!

Life becomes increasingly difficult when we have not learned to take control our own thoughts, impulses, desires, and actions.

Once we learn and apply this self discipline to our lives we will be surprised at how much easier and enjoyable our lives truly could have been all along.

To get control of yourself you must submit your will to what you know is right (in the sight of God). Therein lies the problem most of us face.

Giving up control to get control.

We must recognize that our view is almost totally from the inside looking out, never from the outside looking inward, and at best if we are able to be objective enough and come close to seeing from both perspectives, we still filter everything we see through our own prejudices.

We need an outside objective, brutally honest perspective of ourselves, so that we can truly see who we are and what the shortcomings are that needs to be addressed. Once this is done. we must act doing what we know is right even though it will feel very uncomfortable because the path is new and unfamiliar.

But eventually it will become familiar and start to become increasingly comfortable and enjoyable and you will soon be living the life you've always dreamed of. You then will be in control of your life because you have gained control of yourself be yielding your will to the righteousness of God.

Are You Really All In?

Life & Relationships with Pastor Rick: PastorRickGreene.com
Often times we say we can’t when the truth is… we won’t!

In school we are given letter grades to reflect our proficiency. C is average, D below average, B is above average, and then you have to the two extremes: A’s represent exceptional and outstanding, while F’s represent a total failure to preform.

Most people are functioning on a C level, they are average, and I am convinced that rarely is the case that they function at that level because the can’t do better… its simply that they won’t do better!

Success is a choice followed by effort. Most people are not willing to put in the effort, even for the things they say that they want most!

Resolve today to be “All In”, adapt a first class, grade A mindset. Do whatever it takes, and do all that is necessary within Godly standards to fulfill you vision and accomplish your goals.

Never be ashamed or apologetic for your choice to be successful, because you will not be the only one who is the beneficiary of your success.

Do not settle for anything less than exceptional.

So be “All In”, do the uncomfortable, difficult, challenging, things and you will achieve an A grade and live a first class life!
