Beware of those Who Lack Discretion

Respectable men and women don't give out details about their sexual encounters. In fact they may be so discreet that you would never know that they were even in a relationship at all. 

Beware of the person who is ready to give out intimate details about their relationships, past or present... If they can't maintain a level of discretion concerning the person whom they've shared intimacy, how much discretion will they have for you and your circumstances.

If your partner can't discern which things are just supposed to be reserved for just the two of you just because of they need to inflate their egos, then chances are their faithfulness at some point will be an issue too!

Pain

Everyone will experience pain in a relationship. But we must remember that pain is indicative that there is something very wrong. IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING PAIN OR CAUSING PAIN TO SOMEONE YOU LOVE, KNOW THAT YOU MUST STOP IT IMMEDIATELY. Because, the longer it goes on, the greater separation it will cause between you and the one you love. And remember that where there is pain there is very little room for love.

Spiritual Sexual Needs

This episode addresses spiritual sexual needs. While many of you may be curious about this subject, wondering how these two topics come together, let me assure you that they do. Many of us are aware of the verses in 1 Corinthians chapter 7 which speak to the issue of marriage, stating that it is good not to marry. However, because of (sexual) immorality men and women should marry and should not “withhold” sex from one another. 

Paul states that… If you can’t control yourself sexually, it is better to marry than to burn with passionate desire. Surprisingly and simply put, sexual desire is a valid biblical reason for getting married! 

Sadly so many spouses (mostly men) marry only to later find out that their partners aren’t “burning” nearly as often as they are. Not only is sex a physical need and an emotional need; it is also spiritual, in one instant in particular… when ones sexual needs are not met. When lovemaking advances are not received, men often and ashamedly may start to gravitate to pornography and self pleasure which brings about guilt and overwhelms his spirit that causes the riff in his relationship to get bigger and possibly lead to divorce.

Wow! in this episode I take a look at two "needs" women and men have. Love and Respect.

 When the woman "feels" unloved or when the man "feels" disrespected; both of them are vulnerable to destructive relationship behaviors.

I believe that the key to many, if not most relationship problems stem from the lack or the perceived lack of these two vital ingredients in your relationship. God in his infinite wisdom speaks to this when he, through the writings of Paul, tells men to love their wives and wives to obey (respect) you husbands.

In this episode I share some points of examination and areas of possible change to affect the start of the transformation process in your marriage.
